Although the expedition came about as a chance to swap our desk jobs for a bit of an adventure, we also share a passion for Africa and  the preservation of it's wilderness. Therefore we would like to use this trip as an opportunity to get involved with some of the conservation work Sindisa are doing and to encourage others to support us and the efforts of the Foundation.

We are seeking to raise money specifically for the 2 projects ('elpephant tracking survey' in Zimbabwe and 'vulture conservation programme' in Namibia) that we are helping out with. Our aim is to finance the purchase of 3 tracking collars (£1,450 each) as well as the monthly service fee required to operate them (£25 a month). Any funds raised over and above this will be allocated to the vulture conservation programme in Namibia.

To get the ball rolling we have personally financed the purchase of one satellite tracking collar. The device has been attached to our vehicle so that family, friends and sponsors can track our progress online! When we reach the Gonarezhou National Park the device will be transferred into a collar and onto an elephant, for use in the survey.

All suport is gratefully recieved so, if you are able to, please make a donation online at:
